There’s this really cool looking game called forgive me father and it’s a kinda a kings field fps with souls like atmosphere and just the most nostalgic graphics

Lies of P feels like the first souls-like that doesn't feel like a bad dark souls mod

I normally just skip through these videos, small clips of each game but I couldn't look away at En Garde. The game just had be entranced.

From just playing a little bit of dark souls and Elden ring, the boss design difference is night and day. I think one of the main things that makes DS bosses so exciting is there unpredictable which makes the player always on there toes. This game looks like a cycle. 1). Boss attacks 2) wait for the animation the finish 3) attack 4) repeat

Played it after DS1-3, DeS, and Bloodborne... And hated it. Never played Elden Ring or Sekiro. I agree it's the closest of all the other "souls likes" I tried though

i hope in the next fromsoft game they add a summoner class / make summoning more integrated into the whole thing (everywhere having the ability to summon) because i love summoner classes in other games and i also love elden ring so that would be cool

I really like lies of p, really good systems, the strength gap between some bosses is absurd though

Pls play Withering Rooms, it has a roll and is an amazing game made by a single dev, unbelievably. Game released out of early access April 5 and is a full featured (actually, overfeatured) game that is insanely addicting and fun, has 4 endings 1 of which requires NG+.

What's interesting for me is that I actually found Lies of P to be easier than some From Software titles. The two main bosses I struggled with were King of Puppets/Romeo and Laxasia, but even then, I feel like I had a harder time in Sekiro and even Elden Ring. The parry timing took some getting used to, and Sekiro's timing is def more forgiving. I feel like maybe I just happened to click faster with the combat system. It's still tough, don't get me wrong, it's just a personal experience. Curious if anyone else has had similar.

How Is God Hand hard? You can describe It in different ways but hard Is not even close to be one of them

honestly.... I wouldn't really touch a game like this. Souls games would never work for me. Even more so, everyone that knows me would say for me to not touch this kind of game.

Best way I can describe this game is uneven. The level design is really bad, graphics are more than decent, gameplay is slow, sound design is great. If I was younger I would probably play it, but being older and having sooo many games to choose from I feel it’s too similar to a fromsoft game that I rather just play one of those again, the combat just isn’t satisfying enough.

They added a roll in Xenoblade 3. No i-frames, but I'm pretty sure that still makes it a Souls-like.
